What should I ask for this?

Anyone here know what I should be asking for this assembly? It's 4.27 gear and comes with everything you see here but the E-cable.[/IMG]

It depends on if you just want it gone or do you want to make a few bucks? From what I have seen entire assemblies dont bring much as they are too heavy to ship, but if you take the time to disassemble and list on EBay the new looking shocks, shock brackets, drums, backing plates, ring and pinion, and spring hangers you will get at least 2 times the money for the nickel dime parts than selling as an assembly.

The way I see it you have 6 ebay auctions in your future! And helping people out who need that one part! I really like to buy a junker truck and sell parts off of it.

I have a song I like to sing when I'm parting out a truck, it goes like this, BUMP BUMP BUMP.........another one bites the dust YEA!

Exactly! However, I don't think that you'll get much for the rearend. Everyone switches them out for 9".

I just parted out the front suspension on a parts truck. Already have it sold to a guy from Norway. He bought the complete brake assembly, spindles, pitman arm, steering gear box/column/wheel, etc. Another guy is supposed to get the straight axle. I still have the front springs to remove.

I sold everything in pieces for more money than I would have sold the entire assembly. Sometimes, an extra hour worth of work, can yield a greater reward.

Try your local Craigslist to see if you get any response. You could also try the HAMB's classified section.
