The C6 in my old highboy is acting up. It is full of fluid, at times when I take off it won't shift out of low gear. This morning it shifted down into low gear when I was coasting down the hill by my house. It acts like the vacuum line to the modulator isn't hooked up, but it is. Most of the time it works fine.
I'm not really a fan of autos, but I don't have all the parts to convert it to 4spd collected yet. What do you guys think?

Have you tried to service the trans yet? Drain, drop the pan, replace the filter. Be careful of the bolt length on the filter, and get them back in the hole they came out of. One corner bolt/screw is longer than the others, and must return to it's hole.
Have you checked your v. lines? Are they dry and cracking? Have you put a v. gauge at the v. source?
