C6 Problems, No Reverse, No Neutral

I just rebuilt my C6 4x4 tranny myself. I tested it with the rearend up on blocks and went thru the gears(ratchet shifter). I could shift in all gears but reserve did not move and nuetral acted like drive but I still had driveand the 123 gears. Also I realy seems to be pulling the motor down. Lugging it too much. When I rev the motor the rpms drop instantly. Not sure what it could be. If anyone has some hints it would be greatly appreciated. Thaks.

The torque converter probably isn't filled completely with fluid. As for the gears either the valve body is misaligned or thelinkage is messed up. I had to play with my linkage for a while now 2nd is drive and R is park.

I had the same problem when I rebuilt My C6. Turns out I had one too many "steels" in the forward clutch pack. With the fwd. pack too tight it wouldn't release for nutural or reverse. Make sure you have the clearence in all your clutch packs that is required.
