Nitrogen Filled Tires???

got free nitro fill up when i switched tires and rims @ Discount Tire. I wouldnt pay for it but didnt have to add any air at all for 1st 2 years. Dont know if that was luck or the nitrogen.

The Discount Tire stores in my area do not have nitrogen and have told me that nitrogen is not any better than air. Go to Belle Tire a competitor down the road and they tell me that nitrogen is the greatest thing since canned beer. 
WKWIR??? I check my air filled tires every month and I too can go for 2 years before I need to top them off.
