no start

I have a 1999 Ford F250 7.3, my son's friend gave him a programmer to plug in, but it did not work, now the truck won't start any ideas?

What do you mean "won't start"? Does it crank? Did you leave the programmer in? What do you mean by saying that the programmer "didn't work"?

I've heard before that you have to disconnect the fuel pump before installing some programmers?

You might look around in the 7.3 forum.

It turns over but wont start, the programmer was not left on. They removed it since it woud not turn on. They unplugged wires but replugged them in the same way they took them off!
