Excursion has a new girlfriend
Plus, to further debate the point in my mind, it's just not a good time to be selling an Excursion with gas at $3.60 a gallon where I live. If you recall, it was a buyer's market and Excursions were being given away for a song and dance back last time when gas was $4.00 a gallon. I will put it in storage before I give it away.
Drive the Ex to the pump and fill it up.
Now, you have 40+ gallons of Gas @ home to fill-up
'all' your other vehicles from.
As gas goes up, you save by
having gas at "last week's price" home.
(I used my Tahoe's 30 gal tank during hurricanes back in '04 to refill
smaller gas cans to refill the emerg generator.)

This was a fun war to watch. I say to each his own and enjoy the new toy sheriff!
I grew up a Cheby man and chanting the montra "Found Off Road Dead" :giggle giggle: Now all I own is Fords, it's my choice but we'll probably replace the wife's '04 Mustang with a Subauru. It will work well for where we live and I like thier ZERO landfill production methods.
Personal opinion, I won't buy GM because of the bailout. Built crap for years before the bankrupcy and it's not much better now. Though the 1500 truck platform is better built than most GM stuff. GM is "leaner and meaner" because we let them out of thier debt obligations. I'll put my buying power behind a quality, compeditive product from a fiscally responsible company instead.
