Nice looking rig, congrats on the new ride. It looks as if things are already greening up out east. Finally warming up here a little. Looking foreward to green instead of white in the yard!

Yup,,, No snow to speak of this year in Hampton Roads area, a total of about 16-18 inches and over 80* yesterday.
Some of you guys need to lighten up and face facts. This new Tahoe makes an Excursion look like a 1949 plain jane Ford truck. The Excursions never had a sunroof available, big mistake. They also never had the Navigation system with an automatic back up camera when you put the vehicle in reverse, something they most certainly should have had fom Day 1. Chevrolet has 320 horsepower out of a V8, while Ford has 300 out of a V10. General Motors has always had a much thicker and better quality of leather seating than Ford does. We won't even discuss the sloppy steering issues involved in owning an Excursion, Tahoes and Suburbans don't have the same issues. Gas mileage is certainly a plus, if and when prices get up to $5.00 a gallon. Tahoe, 14 mpg city, Excursion, 8.2 mpg..... I can tell you which one will be parked most of the time. Resale values are and stay much higher on Tahoes and Suburbans when compared to an Excursion. As sad as it may be, there's a lot more to a Tahoe or Suburban to like than there is in an Excursion.

While all of this may be true, I wouldn't give GM a DIME of my hard earned, yes earned not given by the government, money.
Of course, this is just my humble opinion.
Oh, and I don't recall ever seeing a backup camera on a Tahoe or Suburban 12 years ago either.

You are comparing a brand new truck to one that is 10 plus years old not to mention comparing a 3/4 ton based rig to a half ton based rig. The Tahoe should compare very favorably. It is a nice ride, one I would consider if my needs were not towing. Just my opinion!
