no spark...
Hey guys so I was going to leave for work yesterday, and when I got in the truck, it started just fine for about fifteen seconds...then it died. It literally sounded and felt like someone just turned the key off... I got it to start again for about 5 seconds...then the same. I checked for spark cause I know I have fuel, and there's nothin. Any ideas on where I should start? Almost everything is new... ignition module, starter solenoid, whole new distributor, coil, plugs, wires, battery... just not sure as to where I should start...

Are you still running the duraspark II dizzy? It could be the stator (pick up) first thing i would check though would be the coil and if you have power off the coil, new or not, things don't always last. If you do have power, check the pick up maybe it burnt out. Put an ohm meter on it, I believe it should be somewhere in between 750-900 ohm resistance. I'm sure somebody else will chime in if those numbers are inaccurate. It's usually something simple just follow the system through you will figure it out... hope this helps a little, good luck!
