Morning y'all. Unfortunately Mother Natrure had different plans for our fishing trip than we did yesterday. Had a nice cruise out to the islands Saturday night, but woke up to a breeze and misty weather. Once we left the South Island and hit open water we were met with 20-30 knot winds gusting to 40 knots. 4 ft. wind chop on top of 9-11 ft seas. Needless to say, we only stayed out a couple hours and headed back to the dock. Got in about 6 hours earlier than we were supposed to but that's the way it goes. Was better than being at work. Just gives me an excuse to plan a couple more trips this year.

Long weekend for us . Field prep Fri night, 14 hours there Saturday, and another 11 yesterday. I wasn't tired enough from that, so I started building the kids batting cage today. It'll be 12'x12'x45'. Netting should be here by the weekend.

We did about 1/2 acre of mowing, weed eatting, & mucking out the horse corral yesterday at my rental house - had to create a fire break. Now to finish the inside to get it ready to rent! UGH...so tired.
