by any chance does someone know what type of bulb is in the corner marker light of an 03?

nevermind. it is the 194 bulb that are in the cab lights also, luckily had some from my old cab lights

PIZZA !!!!! And no pools tomorrow the 6 blow broke down and had to get towed to Monaco

Is there something like a performance hpop to upgrade to?

So far my van with 55,000 miles on it hasn't 'broke down.'
  • The recent dead batteries were five years old and I consider it just end of life, especially sitting for so long while I was away.
  • I caught the transmission melt-down before it gave up the ghost.
    Every time I got a transmission trouble light I pulled into the dealership that same day.
    Eventually the dealership opened up the transmission.
  • I caught the turbo before it stranded me.
    The turbo was 'on the way out' but not dead yet, I was only suffering poor acceleration at the time.
Once I get a job, considering that I've racked up 55,000 miles, I'll replace:
  • The alternator (upgrade), this one is 250 Amps.
  • Flush the coolant, and while I'm at it replace the water pump and the EGR cooler.
Like aircraft some things do need replacing based on run-time.

Dave at this point he told me he would have no problem leaving it at the dealer and getting a new one. It has way to much down time, and it is stock

Hey Miles, sorry you didn't get your mountain dew! I had quite the story for Aaron when I got back! Hope you didn't get in too much trouble.

Greg, Aaron was saying you knew of a fancy caulking/sealant stuff for seams like in my cab where the metal ran away from the weld, and other places as well.

Josiah gimme a holler in the morning if you guys have stuff for me to do otherwise I'm gonna go finish splitting what I have cut already then go play in the woods. I'd say maybe I'll see Alden but judging by the pictures of his quad I don't think I will.

I won't be getting there particularly early. I am going over to a buddy's to check out his "new" truck(lifted 2500 dodge) while I wait for auto body specialties to open so I can hopefully get some retainers for my cab lights. I will let you know what is going on though. I don't know how much there really is to do. I think the only thing that really needs two sets of hands, or three, is the hood, and maybe bumpers. Interior should be a breeze
