AM/FM/CD Player installation issue

Hey guys and gals,
I have a 1999 F-250 XLT. When I bought the truck it had an aftermarket Pioneer deck in it that works fine. I purchased a stock unit 3L3T-18C868-AC to replace it with (didn't like the big hole in the dash). The stock wiring pin from the dash plugs right in to the new unit, but no power, lights, etc... soI sent it back, got the replacement one today, same thing! Am I overlooking something, is there a missing plug under my dash somewhere? Any help appreciated

You might have overlooked a plug. I don't have your specific information. My 2001 F150 OEM radio has 2 different stock wire harnesses plugged into the back of it plus the antenna lead. My aftermarket radio only uses one of the plugs plus the antenna lead. The other OEM wire harness plug is not used on my aftermarket installation.
I hope the previous owner didn't rewire the harnesses you have now.

Exclamation See this eBay posting for a photo of the rear of your particular model

Good thing you posted the part number you are using.
There is a photo of that exact model here.
The areas on the back, lower right rear, of the illustrated radio #3L3T-18C868-AC are identical to those on my OEM radio #YL3F-18C869-AB for my 2001 F150 - the radios are different, but the pins in that area are IDENTICAL. And my OEM radio needs 2 different OEM wire harnesses connected to it, so it's a good bet your radio needs the same.
My aftermarket radio only needs to connect to the wire harness with 16 openings, in 2 rows, which came from the section of pins in the extreme right lower corner of the OEM radio.
This is the photo I took of the plug that is to be connected to my aftermarket radio.
This is the photo I took of the other OEM plug, that my aftermarket radio does not use, the photo has the label "J3" on it.
I guess your OEM radio needs both plugs connected to work.
