Swapping superduty dash clusters

Im looking to see if anyone has any knowlegde about the possibility of being able to swap out a 2004 super duty driver side gauge cluster with a 2005 to 2007 gauge cluster. Is this even possible? The overall shape of the shells look identical, but will the plug-ins be the same? The main reason I am looking to swap out my old 2004 cluster is primarily to be able to mount a stock navagation system type unit in the dash. I am trying to avoid getting one of those single spaced flip-out styles. All help is appriciated.

Thanks

The 05 stuff has Controller Area Networking, there is a lot of data running through the radio to the dash and all of the other modules. I suspect there would be a lot of wiring required and possibly the need to upgrade everything on the network to 05+.
