I have a Ford 6.6 inline 6 cy diesel i just bought this dump truck with this engine in it I need to bleed the fuel system where is the primer pump and what does it look like.And where could i get a service manual for this engine thanks
im in athens georgia and im looking to swap a 6.6L into my 84 f350. wheres the best place to look for an engine and trans setup for my truck?
also what transmission options do i have for the 6.6L. id like to keep it automatic.

We had a fleet of 6.6's back in 89. The primer pump if I remember is on the right side of the block mounted on the transfer pump. It has an obvious **** on it that you unscrew to allow it to pop up. Ours had Allison AT 545 transmissions. These engines were solid with the only issue being the head gasket would leak coolant after a few years.
