Been selling parts for over ten years. I know your a newbie to this forum. Tailgates go from $250.00 to $1000.00 These trucks are getting costlier because of the demand for parts. You want good parts? they cost money. You just want a part it will cost you money in the long run. Figure body shop hours at $80.00 an hour. Tail gate needs work Body plus prep, 5 hours, DAMN!!! Welcome to the real world!!!!!

C4TZ-9940700-A .. Styleside Tailgate / Obsolete
1964/66 F100/250 2WD / 1966 F100 4WD
September 1966: Ford obsoleted this tailgate, replaced it with C7TZ-9940700-A .. 1967/72 F100/350 Styleside Tailgate .. for use as a "service part replacement."
ALL the mounting hardware is the same, but the 1967/72 tailgate looks slightly different.
C4TZ tailgate has large F O R D block letters / C7TZ tailgate has smaller F O R D letters surrounded by a raised ovate scallop line.
