kill da cat

95 f250 5.8L 2x4.....i live in a non emissions county and I caint get one muffler shop to cut out my cat and put strait pipes on....what the crap! guess i will have to do it myself. 02 sensor is before the cat, so i shouldn't have any problems......correct?

well it is a $10,000 fine for any shop to ttake off a cat converter SO no, they wont do it. N yes yu'll be fine

We have a muffler shop here that still won't touch it. If they suspect it's been punched out, same thing.

I cut all mine off myself and then take it to the exhaust shop. I got $140 for the cats at scrap yard and had the exhaust done for $140.

I could but it would be much easier to take it just out of town to the shop that tells you how to by-pass everything and make it look legal

if the power company would hurry up and hook up power at my shop, i will just cut and weld and be done with it...thanks for the info. Iowanstraight6, u in muscatine?

nope north in a little town called lake mills

and i hollowed out my my second cat and last night at wot it made a loud buzzing noise than a rattle thought i blew the tranny but took it in droped ban clamp inserted rebar and now it sounds throatty really throatty.....
