I buy mine at Tractor Supply Stores, $13.50/ 2.5 Gal Peak Brand. They always have it in stock.

 

When this thread first started DEF was something new to everyone. I don't know if the person that resurrected this old thread maybe just got into a truck that requires DEF. But I think we have all figured out that getting/needing DEF is not like running out of fuel, and has really turned into a non-issue.

 

I use this Super S DEF. My local fuel stop (Buc-ee's) sells it in the 2 gallon jugs for just under $6.

Looks like Diesel Manor has it for $6.75

Walmart has the Blue DEF 2.5 gal for $7.88.

 

That's cheap. It's $11-12 at Walmart stores around me.

 

Same here but at about 1000 miles to the gallon I'm not going to sweat it.

 

Walmart sells their own brand of DEF at 7.88, and the Blue Def brand is still in $11 range at our local store.

 

You are correct. I looked at the jug color, and didn't pay enough attention to the label...

I purchasing a skid of DEF fluid jugs a few days ago from the Sinopec's website, after shopping I saw this online and thought to help those confused and spread some knowledge about the brand Sinopec and its DEF that so many have wrong.



Couple things to point out



1. DEF is made in the USA, not china

2. Each box had 2 bottles and 2 hoses

3. All trucks are running good. we checked the def using putting a few drops on a refractometer

4. Got next day delivery

Wal Mart is still cheaper and comes with a nozzle on each jug. Wal Mart is located in most areas and no need to order. More often than not, you and someone your know, spouse or etc, is going to Wal Mart withing a few days.

 

Since I only buy a 2.5 gallon jug every 5000 miles, I don't sweat it, but get the Super Tech at Walmart when convenient. NAPA had the Peak for $8 over the winter and I bought 2 or 3 then.
