Nipperdog is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
I normally buy mine at the local Pilot truck stop here in FLA for 13.79 for a 2.5gal jug. Last week we were traveling through NC when I checked the DEF at a Pilot diesel stop off rt 95. It registered less then half so I purchased a 2.5gal jug and was zapped for 19.95

I got my first refill free yesterday at Sioux Falls Ford. The Quicklane service writer said the first refill was free as long as it was within the first year and at less than 10,000 miles.

I also purchased a 2.5 gallon of Ford's DEF for $18.89 plus tax (just in case).

I just stopped and picked some up from Ford today. I bought a case, which is two 2.5 gallon containers and two fillers, for $34.00. I saved a little. List is 18.89 for a 2.5 gallon container but they charged me $17.00. I put one in my tank and the other on the shelf for another time.

as far as the island pumps at truch stops i remember reading a post a week or two ago that, at that truck stop he had to buy an attachment for around $20 to be able to pump it into the truck. I can't remember if it was on this forum or some other one that it was posted.

I just bought a 2.5 from Ford for $19 then went to WalMart for some stuff. They had 2.5 gallon jug with flexible spout for $12 made by Peak. Live and lean.

Just an update on my earlier post, we've launched a DEF App ("Air1 DEF") today in response to truckers wanting an easier way to find DEF while on the road.

SuperTech DEF at Walmart is cheap, probably made by Peak and has the same fill tube as Peak for about $9 a jug. Since I only have to fill about every 5000 miles and it doesn't store well, buying in bulk doesn't make sense for me.
