Changing the climate control from F to C

Hey Everyone,

I have a USA spec 2002 Ex with the digital climate control and I am pretty lost with fahrenheit temperatures. Is there a way to change the display from F to C? There is nothing in the manual about how to do this.

Thanks so much!

Canadian here with a US X as well - was just wondering the same thing last week. Odd that you can toggle imperial/metric on the computer above the rear view mirror, but you can't toggle it for the climate control.

Anyone know of a hack to change the climate control to celsius as well?

In the lowest row of buttons, on the left you have "Auto", and on the right you have the floor/defrost zone selector.. Press and hold them both for a few seconds and it should change..

Wow... can't wait to try that. Might just run out now and give it a go while I'm waiting for the 2nd period of the US/Canada Olympic hockey game to start.

EDIT: Just tried it... and it works! Hold the Auto and defrost/floor zone selector, as William said.

Thanks!

lol always amazed me that with the snow and ice around the temp was still in the 20's

so c means cold
and f means f cold

we'll all be bu&&ered if the world goes to the Kelvin scale

That's sick! So easy. I'll do it tomorrow. Canadian as well with a U.S. built X. I've gotten pretty good at doing the rough conversion in my head but that doesn't mean I like it.

I just know -40 is -40 and that 30 something F is about zero C. Beyond that I am lost.

Dave - looks like you are just down the road from me! I'm in Cochrane. I guess I should update my profile stuff...
