Wreck would know where the tab bolts to, perhaps one of the transmission to engine bolts? Yeah the bottom piece was probably just clamped to the rest of the exhaust system.
You will need to FAB a metal tab with a 90 deg twist in it, that tab is used to secure the DP to the y collector that bolts to the manifold. it will solidify everything. looks like this below, see the tab and the bent metal tab? It will bolt inbetween the y collector and the crossover. ill snap a pic for ya when i get home if needed.
UPDATE: after waiting a month and a half for the seller to contact me it appears he has flaked out... luckily with the picture he sent me he used the perfect grid for measurements. with the tail gate using the indents im going to measure it up and take those specs to the exhaust shop and see how it goes. i know i need the support tab on the side but anything else? any flanges or anything?
Must be my lucky day... downpipe has arrived!!! Now I just need oil line, boost gauge and tranny tube. I have an extra tube. Might try and make it work some how. Where does the tube get relocated to for the e4od?
Can't help you for sure on the E4OD. I did however have to relocate my C6 dipstick tube. I was quoted at just shy of 100 bucks for the tube and the new lengthened dipstick, so I improvised. I bent the tube around hugging the top of the transmission bellhousing and attached so that it's in the back/center of the engine. It's a tad low and back there (have to kneel on my core support to reach it, but just so happens it's in the perfect spot that I have a long neck funnel that fits perfectly so I don't even have to hold it to add oil.
Well guys just sold the kit for 530$ he got a smokin deal. Im now pickin up nnb2's modded ats system on Saturday. Ill throw some pics up when I get it and install it.
i had it on craigslist and up on here and didnt really get many bites. it needed valve cover and oil line. so one of my buddies was interested and i sold it. It was sitll about a $530 gain for me, when i bought all the new parts the turbo was pretty much thrown in for free. but dont worry, ill be turbo charged by the end of the month!!
