purchasing a F700 vin decode help please

I know its a 16244 eaton rear end but the stamp they used for ratio is all messed up. It has a j2 trans code. It is a 5 speed with a granny gear.

There is more info in the VIN, but the on-line decoders either don't go that deep or want you to pay.
This one is a little better and gives you the engine and GVWR, which with the year and model is about it for the VIN.

There should be a lable with trans and axle codes on the door jamb or door face, driver side.

Info on the Cat 3208 is available by simple search. You may be able to see model specifics on a plate or sticker on the engine, and you can tell if it's NA or turbo.
The transmission will have make and model info cast into the case or on a plate on the case.

VIN Decode
Dont beat yourself up about it, The ford dealer said it was a 10.4L Cat or 12 liter Detroit. I know its a 3208Cat but I havent seen it yet & dont know if its turbo or not. One decode said 175 min HP 250 max HP. Anyway I appreciate the attemptt. It is a U engine code but most decodes say thats a 3.0 You perform a service just by trying
