ok first off i would like to thank you all for the info on finding the code.. i just got my first super duty last night and thought i could really use this as much as i have been known to lock my keys in things(which most of the time is from my boy hitting the lock when he gets out of our trailblazer)
anyways i reached up blindly and peeled off the sticker and have my code.. the label has a bar code, says bosch, and has a fcc id, so it has to be the right one.. the 5 digit code is in bigger bolder numbers.. now i tried to enter them and got nothing.. as i understand it even if the code has been personalized by a previous owner the factory code will always work.. any insight will be appreciated..
P.S. i got a 2003 f 350 6.0l 4x4 crew cab drw short bed.. 113k miles
all stock and plan on only egr delete, coolant filter, and gauges.. maybe cat back..
ok.. i tried i several more times tonight.. first thing i did was wait for the light to go out then push each button to see if it at least lit up.. all of them did.. i have noticed that if i use random numbers it blinks and wont work, but if i continuously put in the code i have found it doesnt do it..
Ok. Try entering your code again and press the 3/4 button right after the last digit in your code. Hitting that button unlocks all doors.
Typically when you enter the 5 digit code, only the driver's door unlocks. I'm thinking maybe your lock actuator is worn on the driver's door and won't unlock. If you hit the 3/4 button right after your code, it will activate all doors and maybe it'll unlock the other doors.
