Man's got an 03 with 74k miles. Original orange hose. Leak wasn't readily visible because of the rats nest under the turbo that was soaking up the coolant. With the so called "reputation" of the 6.0, too many people are willing to push head gaskets especially because no one will question that fact. I don't work that way. I can go home every night with a clear consience

My thanks to the integrity and expertise of VLoney. What one Ford dealer wanted to charge me $2,300 in repairs turned out to be a $32.00 part that wasn't on their original list. This forum and recommendations to listen to VLoney's judgement saved me additional stress and $2000.
