Serpentine Belt Replacement

My original belt gave up the ghost at 78k miles. With a breaker bar on the tensioner there is no way to get enough slack to put the new belt on. Is there a way to move another pulley or the tensioner to get more slack? Belt is a Gatorback 4081190.

I'd say you probably need a new tensioner. My truck's got 225k on it, and I can put a new belt on without any assistance with only a ratchet and my hands.

I can, with a new tensioner, get my belt on without a wrench.

Make sure you have the right belt. I had exactly the same problem the gatorback belt autozone gave me was wrong and there's no way I could get it on. Had to take my old belt in and match it up.
