The cruise light is for the cruise control Mike. He set the cruise to rule out pedal issues and the cruise was cutting on and off.

Edit: too slow again.

Did you get it fixed? I had the same thing happen to me and thought is was the UVCH but ended up being my fuel pump. Ran fine at idle but when I put it under a load I had no pwr. Now it runs like a champ. When I took the old fuel pump out and shook it all kinds of junk came out both ends so this time I put a fuel filter pre pump.

I wouldnt think a CPS would cause this. I thought when a CPS go's bad that it cuts the eng off all together.
