It might be because of the different PCM's but I'm not absolutely sure on that. But for about the same price you can get a custom chip for your setup instead of the canned off the shelf version. The off the shelf programmers tend not to be as good as a custom chip when it comes to EGT's, HP, Torque, shifting, etc.....
edit:.... you posted that u found it on clearance....probably much cheaper than the posted price. Sorry, my bad.
i said cheap!!! i found one for 50$ that is just a link for a new one so somebody could read it and give me some input on it...i have to be cheap. im trying to stick around the house and work so i dont make as much and i have 2 kids and a wife in school.. im poor!!!!!

Reason: more.
i think the 10k mod, will be just as good, at the tune of 2 buks. I installed the 10k on mine, and use it when towing. Flip the switch when coming up on hills.

That is the same as the edge ezf I had. It was only 60 hp and 100 tq and I know nothing about resistors or whatever you use on it. The programmer is 100 hp and 160 tq and I can operate it. And don't they also read codes too?

I think, but also i think they only read codes, that trip the SES light, in which, my 30 dollar code, reads those.
I found the same awesome deal on CL on a superchips programmer so I bought it for $35 sold it on ebay for over $200. I had a.e anyway but if you don't have a code reader ****** it up for that and even if you do have a code reader id try to talk the guy down a little and resell it on ebay. Not sure how the hypertech works but if its anything like the superchips make sure its vin unlocked.
