Hypertech Power Programmer III/Expedition

I did a search for Hypertech and found nothing helpful.

I have an 03' Expedition and can get a Hypertech Power Programmer III for $150. They retail for $300.

My question is what will it do for me. I do not want to switch to premium gas and this programmer can program to octane levels.

Could I expect positive chnages in power. Will it give me better mileage. Cam it be used when towing a travel trailer.

Can it program the tranny shift points?/RPMs etc...?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
D

It will do virtually nothing for power in the 87 octane mode and will firm up the shifts. The premium mode will tune for power at WOT as well (contrast this with Diablo's and Superchips programming which is at all throttle positions). No, you won't get better mileage, any mileage gain will be offset by the cost of premium. Hypertech has the options listed for the model on their site... you'll need to go there yourself because I'm in a rush trying to answer questions and I typically don't support products I don't sell....
