^+2. They are plastic covers and I heard they're prone to warping in heat. I don't think I'd buy one.

billt28, looks good. Nice 'n glossy. (I'm not a big fan of red, though). What did you use for paint?

Rustoleum in the spray can. Followed Em's instructions for repairing the dash pad.

Also, how in heck did you incorporate that dish? Nice place for loose change and other things. Looks really good.

Yes it will still fit. All the dashpads are interchangeable with the following years.

1980-1983: F-100
1980-1986: F-150 / F-250 / F-350
1980-1986: Bronco - U-150
1980-1999: F-600 / F-700 / F-800 / F-900

It's the color that will not match.

I think for the $245 difference I would buy the black one and use some SEM interior color paint/dye and color match it to my original one.
