If you have a problem getting them out, Put a pair of vise grips on it and twist till it come out. worst case you can just reinstall the bad one.
You will be fine just do it. If you have problems post them up and we can help you thru it.
There is nothing you can do right now. Just get in there and see how they come out.

Beer. Plenty of Beer.

As said, just take your time. Helps to have a spare 10mm socket, snapped one of mine w/ 1/4>3/8>1/2 adapter... to much torque

Had two that worked out hard for me. I think they had been bad for a while and carbon had built up on the tips. What I did was when it started getting hard to turn I would reverse direction for a full turn to let the carbon fall off. Probably had to do that 10-12 times per glow plug. Took a little while longer to get them out but didn't break either of them. Just my 2 cents.

when I do the glow plugs, I make sure that the engine is hot first or at least warm and never had one break. If engine is stone cold, so are all the parts you are removing.

-Some people uses something like WD-40, PB blaster or something else (like a marine product against the carbon that I dont remember)
a couple of days before pull them out.
-When you install the new ones put some antisieze in them.
-DONT install AUTOLITES!!!
