Intro: My 2001 Excursion
Hey guys. Just wanted to stop lerking and show off the new purchase. The info from this board was invaluable in me making my decision. This is a 2001 with the 7.3L diesel. I picked it up with 160,000 miles for 11,600. It was originally from Texas before ending up in Michigan.

thanks guys. its definatly been a learning experience. my first diesel and first ford. lots of unknowns with this truck as the seller didnt do alot of the work being that he was the second owner. im loving it so far. normally the biggest thing in the parking lot, for sure.

I love that truck! The bumper screams "TEXAS", I see some 2005-2007 style headlights and it looks like there might be a Harley-Davidson grille peaking through there. Do you have any idea what lift it has? It looks like it has 35" tires on it.

as for the headlights, they are the aftermarket type with the halo lights.
couple problems: the vcr from the entertainment system is missing and the fog lamps are not wired right so i have a couple things to work on. all in all im pretty darn happy. cant wait to take it on the trails in northern michigan
