Lift

I have a 1996 ford f250 with axel swap out of a 2001 ford f350 would a lift from a 2001 ford f350 work in my 1996?

Did you change the springs out to the 2001? what kind of lift? blocks or springs?

We are going to need more info to answer this. First how was the SD axle installed? They are not a direct swap; SD spring pads are wider. I have seen some people just force the OBS springs into the SD spring pads causing them to be at an angle instead of vertical (not the right way to do it). The way it should be done is with a reverse shackle kit (RSK). If you have an RSK, which one? There are a few and some are configured to use OBS springs with SD axle and some use SD springs (SD springs are longer than OBS).
