Was driving down the road and all of a sudden my truck started tot lose power could not accelerate it seemed like it was flooding out. Was in the shop not to long ago had a tune up and a few other little issues to clear up. I knew it has to do with the fuel air mixture but it was part of the tune up what else could it be?
There are a host of possibilities. Clogged fuel filter, bad plunger/piston in the carb, fuel pump failure, ignition issue...Duraspark modules rarely give any warning when they decide to quit.
With the "flooding", if it is indeed doing so, it could be a carb float issue which isn't likely to have been addressed with a regular tune up.
I had the carb rebuilt while it was there also. As far as what you suggested all of that is brand new this is why I am stumped on what else it could be. Someone suggested that I should replace my vacuum advance on the carb to an electronic one because I have the connectors for it and that might help the problem. Could this also help?
