Chip issue..

Borrowed a TS chip from a friend. Whenever i do a hard pull to about 2-2500 and let off she dies...Watch and comment..

I think it's interesting how the speedo jumps up to your current speed when you start it from neutral. Run an OBD scan and tell us what it says.

Are you sure that you have a good connection to the PCM? That can cause some weird problems. Otherwise, the chip could need to be retuned. You could have a bad file.

Just checked and it seems to be in there pretty well...Is it bad to run it if it needs a reburn? or a bad file?

I haven't watched the video yet, btw. I cannot view youtube at work. LOL. When you cleaned the J3 port, are you sure you got it good and clean? Didn't go too far? I'd pull it out, have it checked, and try it again. If it still stalls, I'd check the J3 port.

It' runs normally without the chip? If so I'd leave it out. What was the chip in before?

lol sorry didnt see that post, yes it runs fine without the chip...and it runs well with the chip also...just when you get on it and let off sumtimes it stalls...But my fuel mileage is sooo much better!

I just watched the video. Programming problem most likely. Looks like when you let it drop to idle like that the tuning is letting ICP drop too low and it dies. Check that if you want. When we were live tuning, we got one tune that would let ICP drop to like 200psi when I ran it hard and let off the throttle. Never let it drop to idle like that to see if it died, just had him fix it.
