Just had Sears install all 7 tires on my stock 17 inch rims, when i went to pick it up last night , I noticed all the rims were damaged from their tire machine scored the rim all the way around, on all four chrome outers, my question is before i make a claim with thier insurance and possibly get someone fired, is it real expensive or difficult to repair such damage? i will post some pics tonight when i get home. any thoughts?
They are supposed to install tires from the back side of the wheel, sounds like someone did it backwards. You'd think after one they would stop and question their actions, but I guess they are working at a tire store.
They did own up to doing the damage, this is my luck at getting any work done, I thought sears was a reputable shop, if I thought this would happen I would have taken it to Ford. The manager I'm dealing with is acting like he is reluctant to turn it in to the insurance company, but IMO it is not my problem
