Injection Cleaner
So here is a stupid thought-- Should I add fuel injector cleaner before a big trip-- or do I wait and add it after a big trip?
My thoughts are that if you add it before a big trip then it won't be diluted because you will burn most of a tank-- then add more.
But if you add it during normal time then you will add gass occasionalyy and dilte the cleaner.
Am I just bat poop kinda crazy and it doesn't matter ot what?--

They say current fuel is high detergent and cleaner is not as important as it used to be. I still run a bottle through every oil change. We used to own a 89 toyota that had cold start injectors that would cause cold start problems in the fall. A bottle of concentrated injector cleaner would straighten it out. I run my tank about empty most times anyway. I get the good stuff evey year or so. BG or Seafoam. Most of the time it's the concentrated house brand or STP.
Lynn used to say customers would complain about lower mpg for a tank or two after fuel system cleaner.
Like others said, do what you like.
