Fuel Injector Cleaner

Can anyone tell me if the fuel injector cleaner that you add during gasoline fill-up helps clean the injectors?

The widely accepted Fuel injection cleaner most use, and what I use in my truck, is Chevron with Techron (I think that's spelled correctly).

I agree with Smitty, I use Chevron w/techron and have had no complaints.

Anybody ever try the Prestone synthetic fuel injector cleaner?

I use Acetone, 2 oz. per every 10 gallons. works very nicely and is quite inexpensive usually nets an extra .5 mpg on that tank too.
