well the brown has no power at the pump relay. but when the inertia is unpluged it dose.. im confused on y. i was told erlyer in the thread both the yellow and the brow wires should have voltage at the relay.
i turned it by hand.. and yes the timming is 1080 out? the timming gun and harmonic are reading on time ( did this by jogging the engine) but u pull the capp off and the rotor is pointing at cyl 6 instead of one.?
You need to insure the #1 cylinder is @ TDC on the compression stroke, both valves closed, and set the distibutor at the number one wire. As Grey mentioned before, this will get you started but you eventually want to be at 10 BTDC once it is runninng.
It's free to set the timing correctly. If you don't do this, it doesn't matter what codes you get or what wires you probe. Your truck will never run without the timing set properly.
