Sorry in advance if this is not allowed, I Found some rear doors for my panel truck but the guy will not ship. Is there a reputable company that will pick up large packages this size. Pre paid from Lower Calif. to Salem Oregon

Check the member's list and see if there is a member who lives near by. If they were close to me I'd package them and take them to the Greyhound station for you. I know we have a few member in the central/south CA area. If you find some one offer them something for their time and eveyone will get a little something out of the deal.

Greyhound has size and wait limits, it has to fit the cargo area of the bus. I have shipped doors and a '48 truck hood via Greyhound. The major inconvenience is you have to deliver to the Greyhound station and pick up at the station. Major plus is they accept larger parts than UPS or FedEx and are a lot cheaper.

I might be going down to Placentia, CA (Orange County) on April 1 and may be there through morning of April 2. If the guy can meet me in Placentia, I can pick them up for you and put them on the Greyhound bus when I get back home.

Also, my brother lives in Granada Hills. You can also have the guy drop the doors off there. My brother can store the doors at his place until I'm able to get down there if I don't go the first weekend in April.

I don't know Ilya, can he trust you with a decent set of panel truck doors? We all know those are one of the rarest of the rare parts. Now if it was a set of NOS panel truck seats I'd really keep my eye on you. You'd get them all sloppy drooling over them.

I thought the same about myself. I already have a set of decent rear doors for my 51, but wouldn't mind finding another decent set for a spare.

If I can't have the doors, I at least would like to hold them and make sure they get to their destination.

I was just surprised you hadn't sniffed these out yourself, they're less than 500 miles from your home. I thought your parts sniffing range was at least 750 miles.
