Straight pipes??

What would happen performance wise if I straight piped my V10?

How many are running straight exhaust, how far back are u running it and hows it sound any vids?

Go to youtube and search for Ford V10, there are some videos of stock exhaust with no muffler. That's how I have mine set up, it doesn't sound like a V8, but it isn't too bad. Your's might sound different since it's a 2V.

No lack of power and yes, I used to tow heavy (14,000) and ddin't notice any difference other than the wife saying it's loud.

ok thats good to know, im looking to get a 20-25 ft toy hualer or sleeper trailer beginning of next year so i dont want to do it and end up losing power.

I just got rid of a 38' toy hauler and am glad I did, 5.5mpg was the best I ever got with it.

damn was it a regular hitch trailer or 5th wheel? thats huge!!!!!!!

is that what was 12-14k lbs??

ive got a v10 with no cat and glasspacks, i never noticed any power loss but did see a small improvement in mpg, small. but that was all before the lift... now i lost power and mpg ha time to regear. anyways heres a vid of how the truck sounds in case your interested. Triton v10 exhaust - YouTube

With no cat doesn't that trip the computer and make a the engine light come on?

No O2 after the cat means no CEL or codes. Ditch the cat and straight pipe it and you will probably lose low end and possibly even mid range power. Plus have an annoying sounding truck to boot. Its your truck but I don't see an upside.

Loss of low end means what??

Nope. You need torque in the lower ranges to get the load moving.
