balancer question

The 1986 parts should work with a 1982 engine if you match the balance. However if it's been remanufactured, heaven knows what it's got on it as some of the remanufactured engines got either 28oz or 50oz as was handy at the time.
But here is a rule of thumb from my parts book, which is in no way definative to the problems you may encounter. The parts are transmission, engine, 49 and california specific as well as EEC vs NON EEC. So this is the best I could come up with.
1980 302V8 and 351:
Harmonic Balancer: D8TZ-6316-B
Flywheel: E0TZ-6375-B = E8TZ-6375-C = 28oz flywheel.
1981 302V8:
Harmonic Balancer: California Three Groove: E3TZ-6312-E
Harmonic Balancer: 49 State: E1TZ 6316-D
Flywheel: E1TZ-6375-A, E8TZ-6375-D: = 50 oz Flywheel.
1982-1983 302V8:
Harmonic Balancer: California Three Groove: E3TZ-6312-E
Harmonic Balancer: 49 State: E1TZ 6316-A
Flywheel: E1TZ-6375-A, E8TZ-6375-D: = 50 oz flywheel
1984-1986 302V8:
harmonic balancer: E4TZ-6316-A
Flywheel: E1TZ-6375-A, E8TZ-6375-D: = 50 oz flywheel

Easiest way would be to email the pics to yourself, then upload them somewhere like Photobucket. Then you come back to this forum, create your forum post and include the direct link from the photo hosting site to your pics.
I don't know Curve's capabilities that well. If it has a browser and decent internet connection, you might be able to upload your pics to Photobucket right from the device..

Well I called ford about that official build sheet. She told me my pickup was older than their records so she would have one made for me. A break down of the VIN and other about info so I can't wait
