Battery issues "possibly"

I have two duralast gold batteries the truck after sitting for two weeks had dead batteries is this normal for a diesel truck to have it batteries drain this quick? because we had our gass van sitting for a good month and it fired right up,if it isnt normal what could be pulling a draw if my truck is off i checked all the lights and the backup camera and they were
off before we had the truck sitting, i know our gp's need replacing soon
and possibly the controller , could that be my problem a bad contoler pulling power ?

Its not normal. first thing i would do is charge them and then have them load tested. One bad battery can drain another.

Make sure your alternator is charging. Test your batteries with a multimeter and they should read 14.6+ while the truck is running and 12.6 when off.

You sure it 14.6 on diesel. On mine 6.9L it only put 13.6-13.9 but belt slip could cause it.

Is everything off I know that on my F250 it door light that will stay ON at random times.

Mine does, it could be the 3G alternators that were put on the 92+ trucks.

I got 13.1-13.9 on mine when running. So it might be the altenator or belt slip because i have the numerous, time consuming, and PITA V-Belts...BUT! If i loose one i dont loose everything....so....tradeoff worth it??!?

Your is same when I have #4 bad regs it won't charge we do manual hook c clip wire to positive to reg's wiring it charge up 14.9-15volt.

New reg charge but limit 13.9 Don't know why.

Check for a draw. Hook a test light in series with the ground cable on one battery and unhook the other one and see if it lights up. If it does then you have a draw. Unplug things, pull fuses until it goes out. Your alternator can charge but still have a small draw when the truck isn't running. You can test your batteries with a good charger. When they are dead throw a good charge on them, say 60 amp, for a about 30 seconds or a minute. Check the charge. If they are high like high 12's or 13's then are not good. That means they are not taking the charge. You are seeing surface charge and they are sulfated. A lead acid battery can actually only charge to 12.6 volts. Chemically it can't go over that. Anything over that is not a "real" charge in the batteries. I just had to pick up a pair of batteries for my 94. Ford had their highest cranking amp batts for like $95 a piece.
