I've got a '90 Eddie B. with auto hubs - had to replace both brake rotors.
My question is how do you adjust the wheel bearing nuts? There is an inner and outer one. I believe the manual states that you torque the inner nut to 50 lbs and back off a 1/4 turn - but what about the outer nut?
For "later models" with only 1 nut, the Haynes manual says to set the adjusting nut at 70 lb-ft while rotating the wheel, then back off 90° & retighten to 15-20 lb-ft.
If you have an inner & an outer, tighten the inner to 50 lb-ft while rotating, back off 45°, put in the lock washer, & tighten the outer to 150 lb-ft.
