Jerry those are two bad *** trucks, two of my favorite Ford body styles. I can tell by looking under the hood you keep you stuff clean and in excellent shape. You did all that without removing the front radiator support structure ?. I think I have a couple of bad injectors and I was going to try and do them myself in my driveway. I used to wrench for a living but not on diesels. Would you recommend me giving this a go ? Thanks and great job on your project
Nice job! I just recently blew my headgaskets from an overboosting turbo. Fortunately an aftermarket warranty covered mine. Upgraded the necessary components, and had them install ARPS. Ill bet your rig runs like a raped ape!

If you're handy with a wrench, I'd definitely do it yourself. Injector replacement is not that bad at all. Good luck.
I'm guessing it would be a good time to give the engine a good cleaning while you've got everything apart? My engine is NASTY but it was that way when I bought it. I've been wanting to clean it up, so now that I have a reason to break it down I guess I will.
Located at? Do you know of a product that's pretty much the same? Because if you're from up north or out west we probably have different stores and different products.
Sounds good. So did you do anything special to get the back problematic headbolts out. Some have mentioned removing the engine mount bolts from the frame and lowering the engine a little. Did you do anything like that?
See post 36. Didn't really have any problems once the inner fenders were out. Never messed with the motor mount bolts. When reinstalling, The rear 3 studs must be in the passenger side head when its lowered into place as well as the rear lower dvr side head.

Yeah I had heard most people were putting 3 in on the pass side and 1 in on the drivers side, but there was one guy who said even then he couldn't get his factory bolts to come out or the studs to go in without dropping the back of the motor a few inches.
