Well guys, it's my turn. Pulling the top end off this weekend. Studs, bulletproof EGR cooler, oil cooler, fuel spring upgrade, 2 injectors, new fan clutch, Turbo oil supply and drain upgrade, etc, etc. I've followed several others posts through this process. Some smooth sailing and some not so much. I'll let you know how I make out. Plan is to tear down Friday and drive to work Monday. Keep your fingers crossed for me. I'm sure I'll be checking in for advice through the process.

I WOULD if it isnt done already!
Yep. Got the STC fitting upgrade. I think I'm all set. I believe I have all the bases covered. I'll keep ya posted and take lots of pics throughout the process.
Thanks,
Motor-Man.........I like your truck. Looks awesome
Well, I tore into this thing this morning. Not making progress as quickly as I anticipated but i'm working alone. While removing the FICM plugs, one of the plastic pabs one one side of the connector broke off. The other side is still intact. Any remedy for this??
Well, been at it for 2 days. I got the new head gaskests on, the heads back on (that is really not a 1 man job), and started putting the valve train back in. I broke 2 rocker arm clips (darn those things are delicate). Off to the dealer to get some tomorrow.
