Battery light

I just bought 2 new red tops last week and today my battery light keeps flicking on and off. Any ideas? I had the alt tested after I put the batteries in and it was fine.

Its always the alt ,regulator, or the wiring to it ....

Check the connection to the batts. mine did that one time andd my grounds were loose

When everything seems to be working but the light is on or flickering it is usualy the spade connector on top of the alternator loose or coroded. Cant remember exactly what it looks like but it is on top at the rear where you can get at it easily. Smallish single wire about 18 ga. prolly a pic on here somehwere if you do a search.
