I can probably find a picture or diagram of the PVH solenoid if you need one, but there is no diagram of it's internals. It's not considered a repairable part. You just replace it.
I've never been able to find a complete vacuum diagram, but it's pretty simple. A vacuum line coming from the intake manifold goes to a reservoir with a line going to the HVAC and another going to the PVH solenoid. A line comes off of the solenoid and goes down to the axle, where it T's and goes to each hub.
The OP has a gas engine, so he won't have the electric vacuum pump, and his reservoir will be different. But everything else you posted is correct. On a gas engine, vacuum is taken from the intake manifold.
