Replace bed with a Box
Has anyone replaced there standard bed with a box? Mom has a 2000 F350 Crew DRW and wants more room to haul without a trailer. I was thinking maybe get a box made up for it, maybe over the cab to. Does anyone know where I can get one made?

Are you talking about the kind of boxes like whats on a Uhaul? It might be easier (and cheaper) to find a cheap used Uhaul truck. As far as having one made you will probably have to talk to a local shop that installs utility bodies and flat beds. They can get that stuff for you.

Thanks for the input so for. I know it would be easier to get a different truck, but Moms credit is, lets say challenging. So no loans. I will be looking into trades but the truck she has is a nice F350 Centurian Crewcab that she has had for some time. Should be good for a long time. She also likes the Crewcab and finding a Crew Box truck that is a reasonable price is not easy.
