I had a new radio installed in my 2007 F150 FX4 Super cab the installer lost 2 of the metal clips that hold the bezel in place is there any where in the world I can purchase replacements without buying a whole console and bezel??
Ford will have them, they may need to order them but they'll have em. I would let whoever installed the radio that you'll be bringing them the receipt and that you expected to be paid for those, or just let them do the leg work and have them make it all better.
I also just put in an Alpine radio, and lost one of the clips, and need to replace another.after a long and tedious search online,I couldn't any of the clips.
So I figure,I'll just stop by my huge Ford dealer to get the clips for the radio bezel in my F150.
The parts people looked and looked, only to tell me that Ford doesn't offer the clips only.(this was today 3/31/14)
You have to buy the whole bezel which is in the vicinity of $100.00.What a joke. So,its either buy the whole thing,or put up with the gap between the bezel and dash which looks bad,and drives me nuts.
You would think that ford would sell the clips.Even if they had to make you buy ten or twenty in a pack for $10.00 or so,it would at least be tolerable.
Looks like I'll end up getting one with some clips from E-Bay for less than half the price.
$100.00 for a piece of flimsy cheap junk plastic, give me a break.
