Just pricing new tires for BR don't get me wrong i love the MT Claws but looking for something that might work better in snow and mud. Priced Coopers,MTZ , and other brands but they want an arm n a leg for 16"s. But i did find an online tire place where i can get Maxxis Creepy Crawlies 38.5/14.50/16's for $224.10 plus 82.29 shipping per tire. that's the best deal i have found. I can only buy 1 tire at a time so i figure 5 or 6 months i can have brand new bigger tires for BR. Which mean i need to price new 4.56 gears too.
Ouch on the tire price. That is more than I have invested in POJ. Unless you drive tons of miles, I'd look for some decent used ones that would be good for a few years and not have to invest $1000 in a set of tires.

I'm with Del on this one. The Jeep/F-150 will NEVER see new tires, it's just too big of a cost for me to dump into vehicles worth less than 3k. There is always people losing their butts by selling thier newish tires on craigslist for 1/2 price all the time. Have you looked through c-list lately for tires that are about the same size?
Yes i have and all i find are worn out tires that very little or no tread left on them or they are 15 inch or 17 in and bigger rims. The reason i really need to buy new is i do drive BR more than anything else cause it's dependable and yes poor mpg aside it gets me where i need to go. I don't want to have to buy different size rims just to buy used tires that might not last that long. Considering i paid 1600 bucks for 5 MT claws and rims 6 yrs ago and those are just 35/12.50/16's so only paying 224 for a 38.5/14.50/16 is a bargin.
Nope not selling them will give them to my uncle he has a 75 chevy 3/4 ton 4x4 and they are 35's 4.56's will be just fine for 38's if i was going 40+ inches then 4.88's or deeper would be better choice.
