just showing the progress ive made in the past 4 days. it will be going in the truck in about 2 weeks. these things will suck you dry if they need attention!
i need to pick up a track bar and the frame mount for it. and new calipers then it should be good to go.
i almost didnt want to paint it because it was so shiny
its all done now, just awaiting to put the top ball joints, i just put brand new moogs in my truck now so ill swap them when im doing the actual swap. but i just need to pick up 2 more seals and a tie rod/sleeve/calipers and im done.
Looks great man. And either u have a really awesome garage or u have ur front end apart on ur kitchen counter lol. And are you putting a trutrac in it or keeping the stock diff in it?
if i had the money you bet it would have a tru trac or something to keep both tires wheelin! but this is a budget build. and my garage is a smaller 2 bay lol im waiting on my other parts before i yank the front end out. my plan is to yank the gears in both diffs and have them cryoed as well. but all in due time. its kind of silly how easy these things come apart!
lol!! that thing is HAMMERED, the welding and cutting ive done on that thing...oh my.. i have to sand it and refinish it becuase its THAT bad now. and btw its a simple 2x4 and poly table
Phff who uses a nice maple top bench to work on seriously steve!?!
Haha i thought my ply-wood and saw horses were fancy. U know steve i think a granite or marble counter tob would work a lot better for you haha just joshing ya.
