Are you planning on going with alot bigger injectors at some point? Seems like a really big turbo for 160cc stage 2's.

How made the mount kit? I like it.

Yeah I'm going 250 100s I decided. This down pipe blows, the kit is real nice but the pass side up pipe on line is so far up that I'm cutting into my floor... She will be driving tomorrow
Jake at irate diesel made this

Yeah, I'm thinking that passenger side bellow needs moving or a lower profile bellow used.. I think these style bellows are physically a little bigger than the interlocking ones commonly used.

How is the turbo being lubed? I assume not through the ped anymore.

Yeah it uses the same pressure port on the pedestal. A stainless braided then is fed to a 90* to the turbo, super close to the firewall but it fits. Drain is used by a cool adapter that goes in the factory cam spot from the mechanical filter

I've been pretty busy lately and the few times I have logged in, I haven't really posted. lol I should be around a bit more in a week or two.

Steve, get that thing on the road and tell me how that 1.10 housing spools with that turbine wheel. It'll probably get rolling around 2300 RPMs I'm guessing.

ok this is somewhat funny!

All the people in this thread are worshiping that turbo, but my friend put the same thing on his truck except it was 0.94 A/R from DI, and you all called him stupid and said it would never spool.

He supposedly has stock injectors from ford, but i think they must be cali injectors or something.

At any rate, it spools at about 2000 and maxes his 30 psi boost gauge with TW tuning.

What gives?

A 71mm turbo on stock sticks makes about as much sense as wiping before you poop. It's just too much turbo, whether they are Cali injectors or not. On a truck running 2's or hybrids it makes much more sense.
